United Airlines Foundation is pleased to announce Jo Ann Woods as a recipient of a United Volunteer Impact Grant for contribution and service to the Gospel Music Heritage Foundation.  We applaud her dedication to the community, as well as her passion for this important work.  A recognition certificate was presented to her, accompanied by Chair Gospel Music Heritage Foundation Gospel Music Advocate Carl Davis, by manager Charmayne Pereira, relief supervisors of the Executive Account and Groups Desks – Julie McMurtry, Renee Montgomery and Sandi Denenburg. She was provided with additional acknowledgement from United Airlines for her volunteer service. Jo Ann Woods was presented with the Volunteer Impact Grant contribution check along with a letter to the Gospel Music Heritage Foundation receiving support on her behalf.

This program champions co-workers who volunteer their time and talents with non-profit organizations by providing grants from the United Airlines Foundation. Co-workers who volunteer a minimum of 40 hours annually to an eligible charity may apply to receive an individual grant and teams with five or more co-workers who volunteer a minimum of 60 hours collectively to an eligible charity may apply for a team grant.

We are happy to be able to support the Gospel Music Heritage Foundation with this program and we commend Jo Ann Woods for a job well done. We also commend North Houston Reservations Contact Center Director B. J. McDonald for promoting community engagement within his team at United Airlines.
